January

Radius Routing

In January, we introduced Radius Routing, a game-changing feature designed to address parking challenges in urban deliveries. This tool allows users to define a distance radius to group stops, optimizing for driver convenience even if it means slightly longer calculated routes. With Radius Routing, delivery becomes more practical and efficient for real-world operations.

Richard Savoie named CEO Monthly's Delivery Software CEO of the Year 2023 in Australia

We kicked off the year by celebrating our CEO, Richard Savoie, being honored as CEO Monthly’s Delivery Software CEO of the Year 2023 in Australia! This award reflects our dedication to transforming last-mile delivery and route optimization. Thank you to our amazing team and supporters who made this possible.

February

Everything Electric Australia

In February, our CMO, Kayla Medica, joined a panel at the GIGA Theatre to discuss “The Future of Deliveries, from Freight to the Final Mile.” The session explored the pivotal role of electric vehicles in optimizing last-mile delivery and advancing sustainability. She also spoke on the Evie panel, discussing what Australia needs to do to best set up for an EV-enabled future.

Spotlight in KPMG's "Futuresphere: Annual Foresight 2024" report

Adiona was spotlighted in KPMG’s prestigious “Futuresphere: Annual Foresight 2024” report. The case study highlighted our innovative approaches to logistics and delivery optimization, showcasing our leadership in shaping the future of the industry. Check us out on page 17.

Coverage in Fleet HV News

Andrea Persico’s article in Fleet HV News spotlighted our AI-powered route optimization and its role in reducing costs and emissions for electric fleet operators. The piece emphasized our commitment to sustainable logistics.

OPTIMA-CON 24

Adiona’s presentation at OPTIMA-CON focused on “Advanced Approaches to Vehicle Routing Problems with a Focus on Driver Preferences.” This session explored our innovative methodologies for solving routing challenges and highlighted the importance of incorporating driver-centric data.

Adiona Joined Connect2Post

We became part of Connect2Post, a platform connecting startups with the postal and parcel ecosystem. This collaboration opens new opportunities to innovate within the logistics sector.

Presentation for ITS Australia

Richard shared insights at ITS Australia, discussing the transition to electric freight networks. Australia’s transport system contributed 21% of our overall emissions in 2023, with road freight being a major culprit. Rigid and articulated trucks alone contributed over 10% of all transport emissions. Transitioning to zero tailpipe emissions vehicles is crucial for Australia to achieve Net Zero by 2050.

Generative AI Summit

At the Generative AI Summit, Richard explored how AI can transform business processes, reinforcing Adiona’s position as a leader in leveraging cutting-edge technologies.

Richard’s feature in The New Daily addressed critical challenges in EV charger rollout, calling for stronger coordination between public and private sectors to accelerate progress.

Spark Festival

At the Sync or Swim event during the Spark Festival, Richard revealed insights behind ‘Corporate Accelerator Chronicles: Lessons Learned.’ Richard shared his experience overcoming challenges, seizing opportunities, and driving innovation, offering actionable strategies for impactful success.

Adiona places second in the Startup World Cup

Adiona proudly secured second place in the highly competitive Australian regional round of the Startup World Cup. We extend our warm congratulations to Build Buddy, the well-deserved winner, and wish them great success as they represent the region in the grand finals at San Francisco!

We partnered with KPMG on a proof on concept project for a national telecom organisation's maintenance fleet yielding impressive results:

Finalist in Startup Innovation Award 2024

Adiona became a finalist for the Postal Innovation Platform & Connect2Post Startup Innovation Award 2024 in the First, Middle & Last Mile category. Our Radius Routing technology continues to transform urban delivery, reducing the burden of parking multiple times in short succession.

Finalist for ASCL Awards in Two Categories

On November 15, Adiona was named a finalist for the Australian Supply Chain & Logistics Awards in:

Big Data, IT & Business Intelligence: Recognized for our collaboration with StarTrack Courier in optimizing last-mile delivery.
